Food Plymouth CIC is a strong cross-sector collaborative partnership of public, private, community and voluntary sector organisations. Stakeholders across the city have been working to develop the partnership and delivery since 2010, to increase local and sustainable food in the city, through the vision of the Plymouth Food Charter and Action Plan (delivered 2011-14). As a winner of the SFC bronze award March 2015, Food Plymouth, as a newly developed Community Interest Company, is currently working on the framework for a new action plan and recruitment of a new coordinator in order to push on in pursuit of Silver SFC status.
The Food Plymouth partnership supports and is linked to many local food projects, some of which are outlined on our website.
More information will be included in due course.
