The Lambeth Food Partnership galvanises organisations and individuals to cultivate a healthier and more sustainable food culture. By working together we are greater than the sum of our parts.
The Lambeth Food Partnership brings together residents, community organisations, businesses, local government, the NHS – anyone who lives or works in the Borough and is concerned about creating a healthy and sustainable food system.
The Food Partnership’s current projects include a very clear focus on Food Poverty and addressing the needs of those who cannot get access to healthy choices. We are focused on working with Incredible Edible Lambeth to deliver growing spaces and offering community education in the growing of their own fruit and vegetables. We are committed to identifying opportunities to engage with community groups in the growing, preparing and cooking of great food that is available and affordable.
We also run a program called CREATE, specifically aimed at those who want to start a food enterprise and need help getting it off the ground. The three month course covers everything budding food entrepreneurs need to know to successfully launch their business. Applications open July 20th and close August 9th.
