FoodWise launch - Leeds Food Partnership's campaign supporting their SFC Bronze Award bid

22 November 2018 17:30 - 22 November 2018 19:30
Northern Monk Brew Co, The Old Flax Store, Marshalls Mill, Marshall St, Leeds, LS11 9YJ

The Leeds Food Partnership would like to invite you to the launch of FoodWise, a Citywide campaign set up to support Leeds’ goal to achieve Sustainable Food City Bronze status in 2019.

Being Food Wise
The initial goal of the FoodWise campaign is to get as many people and organisations behind #bronzeambition. We aim to make people aware of what the City needs to do to gain a bronze status and how we can help each other to achieve this aim.

Moving forward, we want to unite the whole food sector in Leeds. After all, once we achieve bronze, we’ll have our eye on silver! We would like the FoodWise campaign to spearhead these efforts, to become the banner under which the entire City works together to make Leeds a standout example of sustainability in the UK. Together we’ll tackle some of the real issues that are affecting us today; from waste to wellbeing, the economy and health.
