Food is now a major driver for many of our greatest global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, conflict, and human malnutrition. It represents and reflects the collective failures of our time and closely tracks global and local inequities. Yet food is also emotive, tangible, and for many of us — a thing of love. It connects us across social, political, and geographic divides. In a seemingly inward-looking and fear-fuelled world, could food be the missing ingredient to positive social change?
