What are 'Better Food Traders'?

9th May 2018

Growing Communities and Sustainable Food Cities (SFC) partnered up for this webinar exploring Better Food Trading.

Growing Communities is in the process of developing a funding bid that will result in providing practical help to groups across the country wanting to become (or support) 'Better Food Traders'. This webinar provided the opportunity to hear what Growing Communities are proposing, signal your interest, and let them know what you think would help you set up or support a 'Better Food Trader' in your area.

This webinar was aimed at SFC coordinators and anyone who can answer yes to either of the questions below:

Are you interested in the idea of using local seasonal food to generate jobs, build community as well as bringing good food to the people of your area?

Are you looking for practical advice to support, or set up, not for profit enterprises that can be part of a fairer food system?
