Campaigns

Each year, the Sustainable Food Cities Network focuses on a key food issue and works to help towns and cities across the Network to drive significant change on that issue. Having focused on food procurement in 2014, on food poverty in 2015-16, our focus for 2017-18 will be on helping cities become Sugar Smart.

2017-18 Sugar Smart UK

Sugar Smart UK is a campaign involving many partners, with Sustain as the Sustainable Food Cities lead. It will support local campaigns working with organisations and businesses to take action to reduce the amount of sugar and raise awareness of the impact of sugar on our health. It will be the feature campaign of Sustainable Food Cities until mid-2018.
