The Great Get-Together: biggest community event since the Jubilee

17 June 2017 00:00 - 18 June 2017 00:00
UK-wide

The Big Lunch have joined forces with the Jo Cox Foundation to launch The Great Get-Together: the biggest community celebration since the Jubilee.

The weekend will see two days of community celebrations, culminating in The Big Lunch on Sunday 18 June.

The Great Get-Together encourages neighbours to celebrate with Big Lunches — whether that’s a street party, a picnic, bake-off, dance off, sport day or play day, a barbeque, or something else. It’s all about getting together, having fun and celebrating what we have in common.

Charities, faith groups, businesses and other organisations can support The Great Get-Together by encouraging people to gather and take part in the weekend, and by hosting events themselves.
