End Hunger UK national conference

17 October 2017 10:00 - 17 October 2017 15:30
Central Hall Westminster, Storey's Gate, Westminster, London SW1H 9NH

End Hunger UK is a national campaign working with charities, civil society organisations and politicians to make sure no one has to go to bed hungry.

Partners include Fareshare, the Trussell Trust, Magic Breakfast, Sustain and Church Action on Poverty. They believe foodbanks should be for emergency use only, not a normalised part of our benefits system.

They are holding a national conference on 17 October at Westminster Central Hall. The conference will cover issues including: holiday hunger; reforming the benefits system - universal credit and sanctions; building local campaigns; and campaigning nationally to end hunger.
They will bring together speakers from different parts of the movement and the front line, and there will also be an opportunity to lobby your MP during the conference.
