Food & Drink Trade Show, Stockport 20th June 2018. Great food and drink products brought together in one place to help the hospitality sector thrive. Opportunities to meet local producers, suppliers, service and support agencies that can help them do business better. Creating lasting connections, building stronger and more resilient supply chains. We are also curating a number of industry relevant conversations and ‘drop in’ sessions to help build knowledge and help businesses innovate to sustain their operations.


The event is free to attend. Visitors types include owner/operators/decision makers in: Food service, hospitality, caterers, cafes, guesthouses, hotels, restaurants, takeaways, pubs, retail outlets, delicatessens, farm shops and grocers, supermarkets, and independent stores. Also food influencers, bloggers, people with a desire to set up a food and drink business.

Food & drink producers within a 60-mile radius of Stockport, especially small and regional food and drink producers. The show will give them the opportunity to meet new customers and tell their stories about their products direct to local buyers. A traditional trade show with 50+ Exhibitors all showcasing produce and offering tasters. We will use both the covered market hall and outside trading area. We’ll also have a limited number of professional services/suppliers into the sector (e.g. EPOS, equipment suppliers, security providers, universities) exhibiting. We will also be hosting 8 ‘conversations’ covering various topics. We aim to attract in excess of 500 visitors throughout the day.

Paul Jones, Cloudwater Brewery, in today’s fast paced food and beverage industry delivering excellent value requires both a breadth and depth of focus to create high expectations, and to work to exceed them. Paul Jones, managing director and co-founder of Cloudwater Brew Co, joins us to talk about creating value through customer relationships built on openness, unflinching honesty, and mutual trust.

Tom Prescott, Barker Proudlove, Tom provides leasing and asset management advice on a range of shopping centre and high street instructions across northern England. He’ll be giving a property tour and sharing insights into the opportunities for the food and beverage sector in Stockport.

Sarah Evans, Kuits Lawyers, a law firm that advises start-ups and multi-site operators such as brew dog and alchemist. They’ll be running a drop in session answering any questions you might have.
