PHE guide 'Promoting healthy weight in children, young people & families'

Developed by Public Health England 'Promoting healthy weight in children, young people and families: A resource to support local authorities' has been produced to support public health teams to engage partners in delivering a whole systems obesity approach.

Sustainable Food Cities is cited as a useful resource for local authorities to create a healthier food environment. It addresses key messages and opportunities for action to each Council department including encouraging food growing and access to healthy food retail; providing healthier and more sustainable catering.
