Sustainable Food Cities partnerships address letter to Government for recognition of their work

23 June 2017

20 local food partnerships of the Sustainable Food Cities Network addressed a letter to George Eustice, Minister of State for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food asking for their work to be recognised in Government policy making. Read the letter

These local food partnerships - made up of the local authority, voluntary organisations, academics and local businesses - from around the UK met in Edinburgh this year for the annual Sustainable Food Cities Conference. Together these partnerships represent a third of the UK's population and today, we are demanding that their efforts and achievements to build a more healthy and sustainable food system for all be recognised in the highest echelons of power.
